DEPARTMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND TRAINING RESEARCH BULLETIN ON THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL CALLS FOR CONTRIBUTIONS.
The Department of Higher Education and Training (the Department) invites you to provide written contributions for its eighth edition of the Research Bulletin on Post-School Education and Training (PSET), which it intends to publish in December 2019. The theme of this year’s Research Bulletin is on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).
The annual Research Bulletin provides a platform for stakeholders to share information about new research pertaining to the PSET. This year, we are inviting stakeholders to develop pieces linking the 4IR to various aspects of the PSET system. The 4IR has been selected as this year’s theme, building on the shared research of the 2019 DHET Research Colloquium which considers the implications of 4IR on PSET. In addition, given the recent merger of the Ministry of Higher Education and Training with that of Science and Technology, as well as the advancement of 4IR in the modern world, it is undoubtedly a significant area that the sector must consider in planning for the future of the PSET system.
Kindly note that all contributions towards the Research Bulletin should be linked to research and can be in one of the following formats:
a) Summary of research findings;
b) Summary of published journal / media articles;
c) Lessons from study tours;
d) Summary of relevant statistics;
e) Book reviews;
f) Recently published books;
g) Call for papers;
h) Adverts for planned conferences; and
i) Summary of conference proceedings.

Your organisation is invited to submit a contribution of approximately 200 to 400 words, together with the link to the full report/article (if published) or related documents, and the biography of the author/s (of not more than 20 words) to Ms Nompumelelo Hlatshwayo, email: email@example.com by Friday, 20 September 2019.
